Meet the Founder

Carla Stone is an experienced linguist and translator. Carla graduated from the College of William & Mary (B.A. in Linguistics & TESOL Minor). After graduation, she dedicated 5 years to teaching English as a second language to adults. Carla has since continued her language studies and completed a 2nd Bachelors in East Asian studies and a Certificate in Spanish for Business from the University of Maryland Global Campus. She will complete her Masters in Information Systems and Data Science in 2022 from the University of Maryland- Baltimore County. 

As a dedicated linguist, Carla specializes in Spanish to English translations. She has provided various linguistic services to both disclosable and non-disclosable clients. She has contracted with technological powerhouses  Appen, Lionbridge, and Lausanne Business Solutions. Carla is passionate about studying foreign languages (Spanish, Japanese). She is a global traveler and has studied abroad in Spain and Japan.
